Invitation to celebrate together

This year the Medical University of Gdańsk is celebrating its 80th anniversary. This is a truly special moment and it is important that we, together as a community, become its directors and performers. We have much to be proud of and have achievements to showcase — let us share them with everyone!

The official and symbolic opening of the celebrations will take place during the traditional inauguration of the academic year, scheduled for 8th October 2025 – this time at the Polish Baltic F. Chopin Philharmonic. The celebrations will conclude in June 2026.

A series of events will follow, offering unique opportunities for gatherings and presenting the rich scientific and educational achievements, as well as accomplishments in other areas resulting from the activity of the entire Medical University of Gdańsk community. Let us show ourselves to the city, to Poland and to the world. We count on your presence and involvement. Let us celebrate this exceptional anniversary together!
